Q. Do I have to trash my dress?

A.  No! The beauty of "post wedding" photography is that you can be as adventurous as you'd like. Some people are just interested in getting some nice shots in their wedding attire, without the time pressures of the actual wedding day, or in locations you couldn't get to on the day. Others opt for the full-on "drown the gown" or to mix it up in the grungiest location imaginable. Whatever your motivations, you can ensure some awesome shots - and remember, dry cleaning fixes pretty much anything!

Q. Someone else photographed our wedding, can we still do a TTD with you?

A.  Of course! We love meeting new people - as well as catching up with couple's we've photographed. So get in touch - we'd love to meet you!

Q. Where can we have our photos taken?

A.  Anywhere at all! From beaches, to lakes, to urban graffiti walls - we've shot it! We can shoot during the day, or at night for some moody & romantic lighting - the only limit is your imagination!

Q. How long will it take?

A.  The photo session usually lasts around 2 hours. This way, we can cover a few locations, and get a variety of stunning images. We take the time needed to create some amazing shots - no matter how long we need to spend!

Q. My husband isn't keen on the idea of more photos... can I do a TTD myself?

A.  Absolutely! While having you both ensures a strong connection in the images, we can also shoot beautiful, "fashion" type images with just yourself. If you want to do it, don't hold back!!

Q. What do we wear?

A.  Your wedding dress! Or, you can ask us about hiring one of ours - we have a few wedding dresses just waiting to be trashed! For your husband / partner - we suggest dress pants & long sleeve shirt as a good starting point, and then you can add a tie & jacket if you want to "dress it up" a bit more.

Q. What happens if it rains?

A.  If we're shooting in locations where we can find sheltered areas, we'll generally go ahead with the shoot - rainy days are also blessed with beautiful soft light. If we're shooting in an exposed location - say, the beach - we often get some really dramatic skies & stormy clouds. If you'd rather not brave the elements though, we can aim to reschedule the shoot. We know that your lives are busy (and our schedule is usually very full too) - so if we can shoot on that day, we will.

Q. Will we need to choose from hundreds of images?

A. No. While we shoot plenty of images on the day, part of our service is doing the initial selections for you - so you are presented with the best shots from each sequence. Generally, at the viewing session, we'll show you about 30 - 40 images from the session, and you can select the ones you'd like to purchase from there.

Q. How long until I get my prints?

A.  After the photo session, it's usually about a week until we have the finished images ready for you to come and view, and order. Once we have sent the images off to production, it's usually about one week for prints to arrive, and 2 - 3 weeks for canvas. From December - March is the busiest time of the year for everyone involved in the industry - so things may possibly take a little longer.
